Teen Drawing & Painting – Available Tuesday evenings
Our Teen Drawing & Painting program has been designed as an introduction to art fundamentals in both two and three-dimensional forms. A prime objective of this program is to develop the skill of observation and the understanding of form in space with the use of light and colour. Designed for students ages 13 – 17, the course is also a great resource for portfolio preparation.
Note that we will consider 12 year olds for the Teen Program depending on their maturity and artistic development.
Portfolio Preparation/ Teen Class – Available Saturday afternoons
This is a special program designed for advanced youth and teens. The goal of this program is to help students prepare a suitable body of work for specialized high school, college and university applications. In this course, students will have the opportunity to advance their skills in areas such as drawing, painting, sculpture and more. The instructor’s priority is to help students develop an impressive portfolio by the end of the ten week session.
